xAI Releases Grok 4.20 Beta Models via API

Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, xAI, has officially launched its Grok 4.20 Beta models for developers through a new API. This release represents the first time the latest iteration of the Grok architecture, previously exclusive to X (formerly Twitter) Premium+ subscribers, is available for programmatic integration. The models boast a significantly expanded 128K token context window, allowing them to process and reason over much longer documents and conversations than before. Early benchmarks and user reports indicate the new version operates approximately twice as fast as its predecessor, Grok 1.5, while also offering improved reasoning and coding capabilities.
