T-Mobile is launching a network-level AI feature called Live Translation that translates phone calls in real-time into over 50 languages. Available in beta this spring, it requires no app and works on any device with a VoLTE connection, including older phones. Users activate it by dialing 87. The service operates during calls but does not save recordings or transcripts. Pricing after the free beta period has not been announced.
