SpaceX completed the largest IPO in history, pricing 555.6M shares at $135 to raise $75B. On its Nasdaq debut, shares closed at $160.95, up 19%. The offering made Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire. According to the NYT, 4,400 SpaceX employees could become millionaires. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley were among the banks that brought in about $500 million in total fees. COO Gwynne Shotwell said a “merger between SpaceX and Tesla might make Elon’s life a little easier.”
