Salesforce announced the acquisition of AI customer service platform Fin (formerly Intercom) for $3.6 billion. Fin's AI agent resolves queries across live chat, WhatsApp, SMS, phone, and Slack. Salesforce plans to use Fin's team and technology to improve Agentforce, its enterprise platform for building custom AI agents.
