Apple's iOS 27 embeds AI into Messages, Passwords, and bill splitting

Apple is rolling out AI-powered features across iOS 27 that go beyond Siri. Using Apple Intelligence, the update lets users split a restaurant bill by taking a photo of the receipt with Apple Cash, automatically upgrades weak or compromised passwords by securely navigating websites, and offers one-tap suggestions in Messages based on conversation context (e.g., adding to Reminders or Calendar). A Call Context feature surfaces necessary information, like a confirmation code, for customer service calls. The developer beta is live now, with a public beta arriving soon before a fall release.
