Truveta, the Bellevue, Wash.-based health data company, announced Truveta Intelligence, an AI-powered research tool that enables healthcare researchers and leaders to pose natural language questions about patient populations, treatments, and outcomes—and receive answers in minutes rather than months. Unlike typical AI summarizing published research, Truveta Intelligence queries live, continuously updated, de-identified clinical records from over 130 million patients across Truveta’s network of 30 health system partners, representing more than 18% of daily clinical care in the United States.
Founded in 2020 with roots at Providence health system, Truveta is led by CEO Terry Myerson, former Microsoft executive vice president. The company raised $320 million in January 2025 (from Regeneron, Illumina, and 17 health systems), pushing its valuation above $1 billion, and has raised $515 million to date with over 400 employees. Truveta Intelligence is available now to existing Truveta Data subscribers, including life sciences companies and health systems, promising to accelerate drug therapy insights, spot outcome variations, and detect emerging public health trends from near-real-time data.
