Open Robotics' ROSCon Global 2026 sells out exhibit hall, Toronto event nears

Open Robotics has officially filled every slot in the exhibit hall and startup pavilion for ROSCon Global 2026, set to take place in Toronto. In their latest weekly update, the leadership team confirmed that sponsors are preparing major announcements to unveil at the event, and companies are also organizing side events. With the last day for regular-priced tickets landing on August 24, the organization is pushing attendees to register soon to avoid missing out on what promises to be a packed conference.

Beyond event logistics, Open Robotics has been advancing community and infrastructure work. Vanessa introduced OSRA member companies to regional communities they wanted to support, and teammate Vicky completed her first podcast interview on behalf of the organization, expected to go live later this month. Geoff kickstarted technical committees on strategy and security while also assisting regional ROSCon organizers during Japan's holiday week. The team also highlighted that publishing the SIG PAI announcement exposed the OSRA website's limitations, confirming that a full overhaul is needed. Planned improvements include a new filterable calendar, with the revamped site expected sometime in 2026.
