Digi, Jamf, Netzilo, iboss launch AI governance and security tools

Four vendors unveil AI security products: agent monitoring, shadow AI detection, and free usage visibility.

Deep Dive

In a flurry of security product announcements, four vendors addressed the growing need for AI governance and visibility. Digi International launched DANI (Digi Artificial Network Intelligence agent), a purpose-built AI network operations agent embedded natively in its Digi Remote Manager (DRM) platform. DANI enables network operators and managed service providers to monitor and diagnose network issues, identify root causes, and surface recommended actions through a single conversational interface, all as a value-added service.

Jamf announced general availability of AI Governance for Mac, allowing IT and security teams to discover actively-used AI tools, enforce policy controls, and generate audit-ready reporting. Netzilo expanded its AI agent governance with runtime enforcement capabilities for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and other major agent harnesses. Its AIDR builds a runtime graph of agent behavior—including tool calls, file reads, network requests, and multi-stage actions—correlating seemingly harmless individual behaviors to detect complex threats like prompt injection, tool poisoning, and data exfiltration. Meanwhile, iboss launched a free AI Security Platform that gives any organization instant visibility into AI tool usage across ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Cursor, and dozens of others, tracking prompts, sessions, users, and risk in real time.

Key Points
  • Digi's DANI automates network diagnostics and device management via a conversational AI agent embedded in Digi Remote Manager.
  • Jamf's AI Governance for Mac detects shadow AI tools, enforces policies, and generates audit-ready reports.
  • iboss offers a free AI Security Platform with real-time visibility into prompts, sessions, and risk across 50+ AI tools.
