Google Cloud and CVC Announce Partnership to Accelerate Agentic AI Adoption in Enterprises
Forward-deployed engineers from Google will embed with CVC firms to accelerate AI agent adoption.
Google Cloud and CVC, a global private markets manager with approximately €205 billion in assets under management, announced a strategic partnership at Cloud Next '26 to accelerate agentic AI adoption across CVC's portfolio of 150+ companies spanning retail, healthcare, financial services, media, software, telecom, and industrials. The multi-year deal gives CVC portfolio companies streamlined access to Google Cloud's full AI stack, including the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agent Gallery, Agent Builder, Gemini models, and AI infrastructure. Portfolio companies will also receive early access to certain Google Cloud AI products, putting them at the leading edge of agentic capabilities.
A key differentiator is Google's commitment to deploy forward-deployed engineering (FDE) teams that will embed directly with CVC and its portfolio companies to solve technical challenges and accelerate AI agent use cases. The partnership also includes advanced cybersecurity solutions via Mandiant and Wiz for AI-threat protection, plus sovereign data residency services through trusted partners like S3NS for EMEA-based firms. Additionally, Google Cloud will become a distribution channel for CVC's software portfolio through co-sell programs and Marketplace. John Kelleher, Managing Partner at CVC, emphasized that Google's comprehensive AI stack and engineering expertise provide a highly differentiated opportunity for portfolio companies to transform into AI-first businesses.
