Alibaba.com, the leading B2B e-commerce platform, has relaunched its CoCreate Pitch competition as an AI-powered event with a total prize pool exceeding $1 million. The competition marks a shift from traditional B2B to agent-to-agent (A2A) commerce, where Alibaba’s plug-and-play AI agent, Accio Work, automates sourcing, logistics, and coordination. This ‘Agentic Business’ model lowers technical barriers, enabling a single founder to run an eight-figure global brand from a laptop. Participants will use Accio Work to refine ideas and build structured pitch proposals via a dedicated ‘CoCreate Pitch Agent.’
The competition includes three tracks: General SMEs (scaling established businesses), 0-to-1 Startup (using Accio Work to launch ideas), and Student (for current students). Submissions are judged on innovation, feasibility, market potential, and effective use of Accio Work. Finals in Los Angeles (September 9–10) and London (November 19–20) each feature 20 finalists. Top prizes are $200,000, $100,000, and $50,000; other finalists receive $10,000 each. A new Asia-Pacific regional round’s prize pool will be announced later.
