Researchers have introduced 'Agent Mars,' a comprehensive multi-agent simulation framework designed to model and coordinate a 93-agent roster for Mars base operations. It formalizes a realistic organizational structure across seven command layers, implementing hierarchical coordination, dynamic role handover, and mission-critical mechanisms like scenario-aware memory. The framework includes a performance index (AMPI) and was tested across 13 operational scripts, revealing key coordination trade-offs for safety-critical, resource-scarce extraterrestrial environments.
