New Software Update Makes AI Models Smarter and More Accurate
This update could make AI assistants better at math and following instructions.
Preserve source tool JSON alongside decoded API values so Flint can retain numeric types and schema order in prompts, with existing API marshaling unchanged. Assemble ModelOpt expert banks during safetensors import, and reject direct Flint NVFP4 creation before conversion; other models keep their existing import and quantization paths. Add optional learned sinks and device causal masks to shared MLX attention, while existing callers retain the no-sink and host-mask paths and Flint opts into the new behavior.
- New support for Flint model improves number handling and instruction following.
- Enhanced attention mechanisms make AI faster and more coherent.
- Existing models remain unaffected, ensuring stability.
Why It Matters
More accurate AI means fewer mistakes in math, instructions, and conversations, saving you time and frustration.
