TechSolstice '26 (Annual Technical Fest of MIT Bengaluru)
Students compete in Robo Wars, Maze Runner, and autonomous navigation events from March 27-29.
The Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Bengaluru, has announced TechSolstice '26, its annual technical festival running from March 27 to 29, 2026. The core of the event is a competitive robotics circuit featuring five distinct challenges: Robo Race, Cosmo Clench, Maze Runner, Line Follower, and the crowd-favorite Robo Wars. With a substantial prize pool exceeding ₹2.6 Lakhs, the festival is designed to attract students, robotics enthusiasts, and builders from across the community to compete in hands-on, performance-based evaluations.
Participants are encouraged to leverage advanced technical stacks, including embedded systems, ROS (Robot Operating System)-based architectures, and simulation tools, to build and program their robots for the various challenges. The events test critical robotics competencies such as speed, control systems, and autonomous navigation. This festival serves as a significant platform for practical application and innovation, bridging academic learning with real-world engineering problems in a competitive, on-site format. Further details and registration are available on the official TechSolstice website.
