SailPoint's Agentic Fabric secures AI agents across enterprise systems
New tool discovers shadow AI, links agents to human owners for accountability.
SailPoint has launched Agentic Fabric, a new product designed to secure AI agents and other non-human identities across enterprise environments. The platform discovers AI agents, machine identities, and applications, links them to human owners, and applies access controls as they operate. It also tracks relationships between identities, data, and systems, giving security teams visibility into who or what can access critical assets. This extends SailPoint's existing Identity Security Cloud for human users to cover the growing number of autonomous tools in corporate systems.
Alongside Agentic Fabric, SailPoint introduced two packages: Agentic Business for baseline governance and least-privilege access, and Agentic Business Plus adding just-in-time access and zero-standing privilege enforcement. A free trial of its Discovery Tool is available to identify shadow AI already operating inside organisations. President Matt Mills noted, 'You cannot secure what you cannot see... Agentic Fabric gives organisations the visibility, control and context to keep autonomous agents secure, accountable and connected to a human owner.' The launch reflects a broader industry shift as non-human identities often outnumber employees, creating governance gaps that traditional identity tools don't address.

Why It Matters
Enterprises can now govern AI agents at machine speed, closing a critical security gap as autonomous tools proliferate.
