Amazon SageMaker AI now lets you run ComfyUI workflows as processing jobs, enabling enterprise-scale automated content generation. ComfyUI is a node-based visual workflow builder for generative AI that simplifies creating complex image, audio, or video pipelines without coding. By deploying on SageMaker, you get GPU-accelerated instances (fast inference), pay-per-second billing with automatic job termination, and a queue-based architecture that scales parallel processing. You can export any ComfyUI workflow as JSON and deploy it directly. The post highlights Z-Image Turbo, a 6B-parameter text-to-image model using a decoder-only Transformer with 30 layers, hidden size 3840, and 32 attention heads. Its S3DiT architecture (Scalable Single-Stream Transformer) fuses text and image tokens early for dense cross-modal interaction.
