RTX Video Super Resolution Node Available for ComfyUI for Real-Time 4K Upscaling + NVFP4 & FP8 FLUX & LTX Model Variants
New ComfyUI node leverages RTX GPUs for real-time 4K video upscaling, plus new FP8 model variants for FLUX and LTX.
NVIDIA has launched a significant update for AI video creators using ComfyUI, introducing a dedicated RTX Video Super Resolution node. This new tool, available via the ComfyUI extension manager or GitHub, taps into the specialized hardware of RTX GPUs to perform real-time upscaling of generated video content to 4K resolution. This integration streamlines high-quality video production workflows directly within the node-based interface, eliminating the need for external upscaling software.
In parallel, NVIDIA is rolling out new, more efficient variants of its flagship generative models. The FLUX.2 Klein models, in both 4B and 9B parameter sizes, now have NVFP4 and FP8 variants available. The LTX-2.3 model also receives an FP8 variant, with NVFP4 support slated for a future update. These new data type variants (FP8 and NVFP4) are engineered to leverage NVIDIA's latest tensor core architectures, offering significant improvements in inference speed and memory efficiency compared to standard FP16 precision, allowing for faster generation or the ability to run larger models on the same hardware.
