Reproducing DragDiffusion: Interactive Point-Based Editing with Diffusion Models

A new reproducibility study confirms the core claims of DragDiffusion, a method for editing images by dragging points. The research validated that optimizing a single diffusion latent at an intermediate timestep enables accurate spatial control. However, performance is sensitive to key hyperparameters like the optimized timestep and feature level for motion supervision. The study found a multi-timestep variant did not improve accuracy while increasing computational cost by a substantial margin.
