Radisson Now Lets You Book Hotels Through ChatGPT

Radisson Hotel Group, a major hotel chain, has teamed up with Accenture, a consulting firm, to build a plugin for ChatGPT. This plugin uses OpenAI's technology to let you search for, compare, and book Radisson hotels directly within the ChatGPT interface. So instead of opening a browser, going to a travel site, and filtering through options, you can simply tell ChatGPT what you need—like "Find me a hotel in New York under $200 a night"—and it will show you Radisson options and even complete the booking.

Why does this matter? For everyday travelers, it means less time spent planning and more time enjoying your trip. You can ask follow-up questions, compare prices, and get recommendations, all in one conversation. It's especially handy if you're already using ChatGPT for other tasks. The plugin is part of a growing trend where companies integrate their services into AI assistants, making them more useful and convenient.

But there's a catch: this plugin only works for Radisson hotels. If you want to compare with other chains like Marriott or Hilton, you'll still need to look elsewhere. Also, while ChatGPT can help you book, you'll still need to provide payment details and confirm the reservation. And as with any AI, there's a small risk of errors or misunderstandings, so double-check before you finalize.

Overall, this is a glimpse into the future of travel planning, where AI assistants become one-stop shops for booking. It's a big step for Radisson, but for now, it's limited to their brand. If it catches on, expect more hotels and services to follow suit, making your life even easier.
