Nscale Joins PyTorch Foundation to Make AI Faster and Cheaper
This could mean quicker, cheaper AI tools for everyone.
Nscale has joined the PyTorch Foundation as a Platinum member. Nscale is a full-stack AI cloud platform that brings together power, data centers, compute and software in one vertically integrated platform.
Nscale first came to the PyTorch Foundation’s project ecosystem through Ray, the open-source framework for distributed computing and scaling AI workloads. Following Nscale’s planned acquisition of Anyscale, the company behind Ray, Nscale has committed to continuing investment in Ray’s development and its contributor community, building on Ray’s governance under the Foundation since the project joined in October 2025.
As a Platinum member, Nscale is granted one seat to the PyTorch Foundation Governing Board. Nick Jones, VP of Cloud Native Platform Engineering at Nscale, joins the board, and Eyal Lantzman, VP of AI Services at Nscale, joins the PyTorch Foundation’s Technical Advisory Council. The foundation says that as frontier AI workloads scale to multi-trillion parameters, seamless integration between PyTorch, distributed frameworks like Ray, and underlying cluster infrastructure is essential.
