NAVER Cloud and NVIDIA Partner for Global AI Factory Initiative

NAVER Cloud partners with NVIDIA to launch AI factories using Nemotron 3 Ultra.

Deep Dive

NAVER Cloud has announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA to launch a global AI factory initiative, positioning itself as a key player in the AI ecosystem. The collaboration was solidified at NVIDIA's GTC Taipei 2026 and Cloud Partner Summit, where NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang personally named NAVER Cloud a major AI-native cloud partner. The partnership goes beyond hardware procurement, focusing on full-stack technical collaboration across infrastructure, models, and services. Specifically, NAVER Cloud will use NVIDIA's open-source LLM, Nemotron 3 Ultra, to enhance its own generative AI model, HyperCLOVA X, and jointly research optimization and core technologies for hyperscale language models.

Additionally, NAVER Cloud is leveraging NVIDIA's physical AI platform, Cosmos, to train its Seoul World Model using 1.2 million panoramic images, accurately recreating Seoul's road environments. CEO Kim Yu-won emphasized the shift from model-centric AI to an inference-driven AI factory era, requiring stable, large-scale infrastructure. Through this alliance, NAVER Cloud aims to become a unique AI infrastructure hub in Asia, supporting sovereign AI, industrial AI, and enterprise AI. NVIDIA's Vice President Raj Mirpuri highlighted that the partnership will enable customers to utilize NVIDIA's integrated AI platform effectively.
