Microsoft's latest update patches six zero-days and two critical flaws - but is it another buggy mess?
This urgent security patch fixes already-exploited vulnerabilities - update immediately.
Microsoft's February Patch Tuesday update addresses 55 security vulnerabilities, including six zero-day flaws already being exploited and two critical-rated issues. The update continues refreshing expiring Secure Boot certificates to protect against bootkit malware. It also fixes Windows 11 gaming and Wi-Fi bugs, plus Windows 10 font and shutdown issues. While smaller than January's 114 fixes, the presence of exploited zero-days makes this an urgent installation for all Windows 10 and 11 users.
Why It Matters
Delaying this update leaves systems vulnerable to active attacks that can disable security controls and steal sensitive data.
