Microsoft has unveiled its latest Surface for Business lineup, aimed squarely at organizations preparing their PC fleets for the AI era. The Surface Pro for Business 13-inch, available now, starts at $1,949.99 and offers flexibility with touch, voice, pen, and keyboard input. It includes Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors (up to Core Ultra 7), up to 64GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, optional 5G, and an OLED display option. The device supports on-device AI processing, laptop-level performance, and keeps familiar ports like Thunderbolt 4 USB-C and Surface Connect. The design remains largely unchanged from its predecessor, but Microsoft emphasizes security, management, and repairability as key differentiators for enterprise buyers.

Microsoft also highlights improved repairability, with major components replaceable using common tools. The pricing may give IT buyers pause, but the blend of AI processing, enterprise security, and portability positions these devices as premium options for hybrid work environments.
