Meta Context Engineering via Agentic Skill Evolution

Researchers from Meta have introduced Meta Context Engineering (MCE), a new bi-level AI framework that automatically evolves and improves the 'prompt engineering' skills of large language models. It replaces manual, rigid workflows with an agent that learns and refines how to craft optimal context. In tests across five domains, MCE achieved performance gains of 5.6% to 53.8% over current state-of-the-art methods, with a mean improvement of 16.9%.
