Microsoft 365 prices spike up to 43% starting July 2026
Enterprise suites see 5-14% hikes; Frontline F1 jumps 33% with Teams.
Microsoft has finalized global price and packaging changes for Microsoft 365 commercial customers, taking effect July 1, 2026. Enterprise suites with Teams see increases of 8-13%, while suites without Teams rise 6-14%. Frontline suites face steeper hikes, with M365 F1 (no Teams) jumping 43% to $2.50/user/month. Business suites increase 12-23% depending on version. Standalone components also rise, including Windows E3 up 15% ($7.63) and Apps for Business up 21% ($10.00). Existing customers are grandfathered at current prices until their renewal date.
Packaging updates begin rolling out in June 2026 and complete by August 1, 2026. Feature additions include Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 added to Office 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E3, Intune Remote Help, Intune Advanced Analytics, Intune Privilege Management, Microsoft Cloud PKI, and Copilot Chat enhancements (including Copilot Chat Analytics). Microsoft 365 E5 also gains Microsoft Security Copilot. These changes aim to bundle more security and management capabilities into existing suites. Customers will receive 30 days notice via Message Center before updates reach their tenant.
