LTX Director: Open-source timeline editor unlocks LTX 2.3's full potential

WhatDreamsCost has released LTX Director, an all-in-one timeline editor for ComfyUI that dramatically extends the capabilities of the LTX 2.3 video generation model. The node was built in a six-day marathon coding session using Google's Gemini for 'vibe coding' – a rapid, AI-assisted development approach. It replaces the author's previous nodes (LTX Sequencer and Multi Image Loader) with a fully functional timeline where users can add image, text, and audio segments, then trim, cut, and combine them with an intuitive interface.

Key features include integrated Prompt Relay for granular control over video generation, support for any number of keyframes (including first/middle/last frame workflows), and one-click custom audio import and editing. Both image-to-video and text-to-video are supported natively, with built-in resize functionality. The node enables shots that were previously near impossible with LTX 2.3 alone, such as precisely timed transitions, audio-synced scenes, and multi-segment compositions. Available for free on GitHub, LTX Director is already gaining attention in the ComfyUI community.
