Elon Musk's ambitious Terafab project, a planned AI chip factory in Austin, Texas, has secured a major industrial partner in Intel. The American chipmaker announced it will help design and build the sprawling semiconductor fabrication plant, or fab, which is intended to supply advanced AI chips to Musk's two flagship companies: SpaceX (newly merged with his AI firm, xAI) and Tesla.
