Their solution? A robot dog that mimics natural processes. The design uses computer vision to distinguish native from invasive species, a mini chainsaw and targeted poison to remove invasives, and soil sensors to find optimal planting locations. Seeds are ingested into an internal germination compartment that replicates animal gut activation. The robot then digs a hole, deposits the germinated seed, and immediately applies liquid fertilizer—a full biomimetic cycle.

The creator has filed a provisional patent and is preparing an Earth Fund to accept crowdfunding.
