So Trane's engineers built an AI assistant using Amazon's Bedrock AgentCore, and it took them just 3–4 weeks. Now staff can simply ask a question in everyday language and get an answer in about 20 seconds — the company calls it a 60x speedup, based on testing with technicians over several weeks. The AI pulls live data from millions of connected machines and even tailors its answers to who's asking.

That last part matters. A field technician wants fault codes and pressure readings. A building owner wants an efficiency score and a simple summary. A manager wants cost savings and uptime trends. The old software gave everyone the same cluttered screen, forcing each person to learn menus that weren't built for them. The new system gives each person what they actually need — and only what their permissions allow.
