Rescale's New AI Fixes Broken Software Tests So Engineers Don't Have To
This could save engineers hours of tedious work every week.
Rescale, a digital engineering platform for R&D and engineering teams, built an intelligent triage agent to automate the classification and routing of nightly end-to-end test failures. The agent runs as a step in Rescale’s existing Argo Workflows CI/CD pipeline on Amazon EKS.
When a nightly Playwright suite of hundreds of test cases produces failures, the pipeline triggers the agent, which uses Amazon Bedrock, a knowledge base of historical failure patterns, and MCP-based log retrieval through Amazon CloudWatch integration. It completes the workflow in seconds and outputs directly into the team’s existing reporting pipeline. Rescale used the AI-Driven Development Lifecycle framework on AWS and went from problem definition to staging deployment in five days, and to production within weeks.
- Rescale's AI automatically sorts failed software tests, saving engineers hours of manual work.
- The AI was built in just five days using a new development method called AI-DLC.
- Engineers still approve changes, so humans stay in control while AI handles the tedious parts.
Why It Matters
Faster software fixes mean less downtime and more innovation across industries like aerospace and automotive.
