For Russian freelancers, students, small businesses and developers, this is a genuine unlock. Tools that became awkward or impossible to reach suddenly work again, billed locally, at a fraction of what they'd pay through official channels. That matters because AI fluency is increasingly a job skill, not a hobby.

The catch is trust. GateLLM is not OpenAI, Google or Anthropic — it's an unauthorised reseller. Every question you type passes through its servers, so treat sensitive work, client data or personal details carefully. It could also be cut off at any moment, breaking your project with no refund. And its advertised lineup — including names like "GPT-6" and "Claude 5" — appears ahead of what those companies have publicly launched, which is worth a raised eyebrow before you pay.
