Fujitsu launched its AI-Driven Software Development Platform, which uses its proprietary Takane LLM and agentic AI to automate the entire software lifecycle. In a proof-of-concept for medical software updates, it reduced a task from 3 person-months to just 4 hours—a 100x productivity gain. Fujitsu plans to use it to modify all 67 of its medical and government software packages by the end of fiscal 2026.
