ComfyUI HYWorld2 Node Slashes VRAM with 8GB int4 Models and WorldStereo Support
Generation now runs at 1400px on 16GB VRAM with near-zero artifacts.
The ComfyUI_HYWorld2 node update by developer AHEKOT dramatically reduces VRAM usage for panorama processing and adds WorldStereo support. New lightweight int4 models take only 8 GB, compared to the base model's 100 GB, enabling output up to 1400 px on 16 GB VRAM. Smart image processing removes almost all artifacts, and WorldStereo support is now included, with int4 models fully compatible with Wan turbo LoRAs for 4-step inference. Limitations remain for high-resolution world generation, and the developer invites hardware-rich contributors to create fp8/bf16 variants.
- New int4 models occupy only 8GB, enabling 1400px panorama on 16GB VRAM (vs. 100GB original).
- Smart artifact removal and automated compilation simplify installation and output quality.
- WorldStereo Light models work with Wan turbo LoRAs at 4 steps, but 1024x1024 resolution is needed for best results and requires more VRAM than currently available.
Why It Matters
Democratizes world stereo generation by fitting it into consumer GPUs, though high resolution needs await stronger hardware contributions.
