AWS Ranked Top for AI Muscle — Cheaper AI Apps Ahead

An independent tech research firm, Forrester, just released a report ranking the companies that provide the "engine room" for artificial intelligence. AWS — the cloud division of Amazon — came out as a Leader, and scored the highest in the category of strategy. In plain terms: AWS is now recognized as one of the best places for businesses to build and run AI applications, from chatbots to image generators.

What is AI infrastructure? Think of it like the electrical grid for the AI boom. Before a company can offer an AI assistant or a smart recommendation tool, it needs huge clusters of specialized computers to train and run the AI. These machines are expensive and complicated. AWS's secret sauce? Choice. It offers both the popular, high-end chips made by Nvidia and its own custom AI chips, called Trainium and Inferentia. That's like having the option of a luxury sports car or a fuel-efficient hybrid. For many everyday AI tasks, AWS's cheaper chips work just fine, saving businesses money. For the most demanding jobs, Nvidia GPUs are still available. This prevents customers from being locked into one hardware brand and gives them more control over budgets.
