AWS Expands Amazon Connect Into AI Tools for Hiring, Healthcare, and Supply Chains
Amazon's internal AI machinery is now for sale as Connect Decisions, Talent, Customer, and Health.
On April 28, AWS expanded Amazon Connect into four agentic AI products: Connect Decisions (proactively monitors supply chains, flags issues, and offers resolution options with confidence scores), Connect Talent (AI conducts voice interviews after recruiter approves a plan; candidate names are removed to promote objectivity), Connect Customer (previously Amazon Connect, now with configurability that cuts setup time by half), and Connect Health (reducing paperwork in healthcare). Humans remain in control, with Connect Decisions explicitly keeping a human in the loop.
- Connect Decisions monitors supply chains autonomously, triages exceptions, and offers resolution options with confidence scores.
