Apple's next flagship chip, the A20 Pro, just surfaced in a leak — and the headline number is its AI brain. The chip's Neural Engine, the dedicated part of the processor that runs AI tasks like photo cleanup, live translation, and voice recognition, is reportedly doubling from 16 cores to 32. Alongside that, the chip gets about 50% more memory bandwidth — roughly 115 gigabytes per second, up from about 77. Think of memory bandwidth as the width of the highway carrying data to the chip: wider road, less traffic, faster answers. Apple is doing this by widening the memory connection from 64 bits to 96 bits.
