Three new Iliad Fellowships offer $6K/month and start as early as October 2026
Iliad is accelerating its AI alignment talent pipeline with three new Fellowship cohorts launching in 2026. Each program runs concurrently with Iliad Intensives in either San Francisco or London, with durations ranging from 11 to 14 weeks. Fellows receive a $6,000 monthly stipend for travel and housing costs, in addition to mentorship and research support in applied math for AI alignment.
Applications are now open for cohorts starting October 5, November 2, and December 1, with deadlines staggered from August 31 to October 19, 2026. The process is streamlined via a single 10-minute application form, making it accessible for early-career researchers. This initiative aims to rapidly onboard talent into the alignment field amid growing industry urgency around AI safety.
