Comfy Desktop unifies ComfyUI instances with auto-snapshots and one-click rollback

ComfyUI, the popular node-based interface for Stable Diffusion workflows, has officially released Comfy Desktop, a new unified application that replaces the older ComfyUI Desktop. This update addresses a major pain point for professionals who manage multiple ComfyUI instances—whether local, remote, portable, or cloud. Users can now flip between different instances with a single click, each potentially running different custom nodes and versions. The app introduces automatic snapshots taken before every update, after every custom node change, and on boot. If something breaks, a one-click rollback restores the previous state.
