Buildfarm Dashboard launches for ROS and Gazebo infrastructure
A new centralized hub to track build errors and help contributors fix issues
The Buildfarm Dashboard is now live and ready for the ROS and Gazebo community to explore. Developed by the buildfarmers with invaluable support from the ROS, Gazebo, and Infra PMCs, the dashboard serves as a centralized hub for tracking infrastructure issues. It offers a high-level overview of current build and test errors, their live status (e.g., active or under investigation), and whether errors have already been reported with extra context. This tool is designed to lower the barrier for both experienced committee members and new volunteers to quickly see what is broken and contribute fixes.
The team is actively seeking feedback on navigation, intuitiveness, and feature requests. The dashboard is accessible at the Buildfarm Dashboard link, and users are encouraged to share their thoughts in the replies. The initiative aims to improve the ROS and Gazebo ecosystem by making error tracking transparent and collaborative, ultimately accelerating maintenance and development efforts.
