AgentRob: From Virtual Forum Agents to Hijacked Physical Robots
Now you can control real-world robots by simply @mentioning them in online forums...
Researchers introduced AgentRob, a framework that lets LLM-powered agents control physical robots through online forum posts. The system uses the Model Context Protocol to bridge forum discussions with Unitree Go2/G1 robot hardware. Users can @mention specific agent identities in posts, which then execute physical actions like navigation and manipulation before reporting results back to the community. This enables asynchronous, multi-agent robot orchestration through natural language forum interactions.
Why It Matters
This blurs digital and physical worlds, enabling crowd-controlled robotics through everyday social platforms.
